This is a fascinating half day activity for which Dominican Quest offers pick-up services from hotels in La Romana, Bayahibe and the La Romana, Casa de Campo Cruise Port as well.

After a short bus ride of approx. 25 minutes you will arrive at our Cumayasa ranch for a buggy adventure to go tearing through narrow, secluded country roads and get muddy.

Our tour is a thrilling adventure full of adrenaline and excitement during which you will be driving your own buggy, the perfect vehicle to cruise through the luscious green forest surrounding the Cumayasa area. 

Following a safety briefing you will be able to venture into the rugged Dominican countryside. Go off road on one of our exciting buggies, push the pedal to the metal and discover how much fun these amazing machines can bring. 

Our adventure includes approx. 2 hours 30 mins on the buggies…..rev your engines and rip up the Dominican off road!  

You will also make stops along the way in order to visit the "Church" cave, a caliche mine, the Cumayasa beach and a Batey, which is a small village where Haitian cane field workers live with their families. 

In the cave our tour guides will give you a brief explanation of this beautiful and all natural subterranean area.....this is a site you cannot miss! 

Bottled water and light refreshments will be provided and are available during the trip. When you arrive at the Cumayasa beach you can take a dip in its fabulous crystal clear blue waters……..enjoy! 

Our last stop is at a small Haitian village where you will have the chance to interact with children and see the different living conditions in the Dominican Republic. 

Once you arrive back to our ranch after a fabulous and fun ride, you can enjoy some fresh fruit and have a look inside our little Gift Shop where you you’ll find some typical souvenirs before boarding the bus to return to your accommodation.
